📘 What is this extension?

This tool runs inside a side panel in your browser. It reads the flashcards and quizzes you have open in NotebookLM and turns them into files you can use in other apps — for self-study, classroom, question banks, or as raw data.

🚀 How to use (step by step)

Open NotebookLM and open a flashcard set or a quiz you want to export.
Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. The side panel opens on the right side of your screen.
The extension automatically detects your content. If the page has both flashcards and a quiz, you'll see cards to pick which one to export.
(Optional) Edit the file name at the top — this name becomes the title shown inside the exported document.
(Optional, quiz only) Select questions (all / none / invert), and toggle whether to include answers, explanations, hints, or to shuffle the answer options.
(Optional, flashcards only) Toggle swap front/back to reverse the card sides, or CSV header.
Use the category tabs (Study, Documents, Question bank, Game platforms, Raw data) to browse formats, then click a format — the file downloads instantly. No preview step, no extra clicks.

Tip: If you change the flashcards/quiz in NotebookLM, click the refresh icon at the top of the side panel to re-detect the latest content.

⚙️ Export options explained

Option	What it does
File name	Used as the download name and the title shown at the top of the exported document
Select questions (quiz)	Choose exactly which questions to include — All / None / Invert
Include answers / explanations / hints (quiz)	Toggle each layer on or off depending on what you need
Shuffle options (quiz)	Randomize the order of answer choices (the correct answer stays correct)
Swap front/back (flashcards)	Reverse which side is the question and which is the answer

Why is there a charge after the trial?

The extension can't detect my flashcards or quiz — what should I do?

First, make sure you've actually opened a flashcard set or quiz inside NotebookLM (not just the notebook list). Then click the refresh icon at the top of the side panel to re-detect. Wait a second for the page to fully load if you just opened it.

The extension isn't working or something is wrong. How do I report it?

The link (URL) of the NotebookLM page where it happened
What you expected to happen, and what actually happened (or any error message)
Which format you were trying to export, and whether it was a quiz or flashcards

How are correct answers marked?

The extension reads the correct answer from your content and marks it in every format. If it can't detect the correct answer for a question, that question is clearly flagged (or left blank) — it will never silently pretend a wrong answer is correct. If you see this flag, that question may need a manual check.

Does it support math formulas?

Yes. LaTeX formulas are handled per format: Word shows them as real equations; Interactive pages render them in the browser; Markdown and JSON keep the original LaTeX; other text formats convert symbols to readable Unicode. So formulas like $x^2 + y^2 = r^2$ come through correctly.

The exported file looks outdated after I edited my content.

Exported files are snapshots — they don't auto-update. After editing in NotebookLM, click the refresh icon in the side panel, then export again to get the latest version.

Where is the title in my exported file?

The file name you type in the side panel is used both as the download file name and as the title shown at the top of the exported document (web page, Word, slides, worksheet, Markdown). Edit it before exporting to set the title you want.
